Violet Jessop, often called the “unsinkable woman,” was an ocean liner stewardess and nurse who survived three of the most infamous maritime disasters in history.

At some point you stop calling that luck and start wondering if the sea was just like ‘oh for fuck’s sake, not her again’.

    2. This is like some Final Destination shit where she survived one and death was like “yeah not so fast” except she survived the other two as well, and other people suffered for her having been there

I would argue she’s the unluckiest woman of all time, not the luckiest!

At least that’s what I would be thinking about myself during the sinking of the Britannic as I stepped onto the first round of lifeboats for being in the women/children group

Was there not an air hostess that fell however many thousand feet from a plane and survived? Think that’s luckier tbh

People would call her “a jonah” and demand she be tossed overboard in the past for such a record.

      🤔 very very interesting.

      Who was steering the ship?
Did she plant the iceberg ?
      How about the mine ?

Once, twice but three times, I think we got a mystery to solve.

    7. OMG. This woman was a badass. Everyone around her is panicking and she’s like, ok what do I do, and actually survives and then has the guts to get on another boat ever, during a world war! Oh and does it again, she had bills to pay.

    8. Tbh I think it’s unfair that for everyone who couldn’t get to a lifeboat and died in the accidents, she was on one all three times.
